Orange Clouds Monsoon Sunset by RooCat Orange Clouds Monsoon Sunset by RooCat
Get out your sunglasses. Pick a shade of the color orange, any shade of orange, it's probably here. :D Well just a hint of the lavender to come but you've already seen that. Sonoran desert monsoon thunderstorn at sunset. Looking northeast at sunset.

I don't think I have seen the sky more totally on fire!

 You are right. I don't think I've ever seen it so very orange all over like this before or since.

I'm sure it will happen again. Wasn't this a wonderful season?

I sent you a couple of emails, in case you don't know. They were about stuff I thought you'd find interesting.

I saw one but haven't chcked in the last couple of days. When I have time, I answer comments rather than look at emails most of which I delete.

OK, if necessary, I can remail. I think. I don't think I emailed it to anyone else, just you. The two of them.

:D Thank you. It was pretty intense. Sometimes I think even photoing it isn't enough to capture the intensity or the color of the whole sky that color and who would believe me, anyway? Maybe a fisheye should be next. ;)

Yes, it is, indeed! Sometimes the whole sky from horizon to horizon is a similar orange and you just have to pick what are the best parts to shoot. My crowbar won't work to fit it into my 18mm lens. Maybe a fisheye next.

No, really that's an awesome shot!
I love the mix of oranges.

Yes, the clouds are a bit thin in the upper right corner so some blue is peeking through the orange but that is acceptable to me. Yes, I, too, liked all the different shades. We don't always get such single color mixes.

Extra amazing photo work, takes great amount of patience to see a sky so lovely.
I saw a green cloud the other day with an orange lining on a purple sky, unfortunately my camera was at home.

Oh, how sad! I've missed a few great ones, too. Always pisses me off. I don't carry a camera due to heat here and possible theft but mostly the heat. Yes, you just have to wait it out to see what the sunset will bring. :D

Well, I wasn't going to mention any cloud entities since the colors alone were enough but, yes, there is a gobbler on the upper right. If you mean the upper left cloud for the dragon, I thought it looked like a very fat gecko. :giggle:
