Do Not Disturb - Cat Nap In Progress.

MIA since 26 March Fri 4 am, hadn't come in to eat at all. Something must have spooked Bo-Ty Tue night after he ate at 7pm when it started raining as when the storm passed as he didn't come back during the night for the two meals he usually eats then nor did he show up Wed morning. I didn't see him again until about 4 pm Wed afternoon. After he finished, I went out to give him another handful (about 1/3 c) as he was on his way to the adobe bricks as he usually stops to refuel just after dark when he's finished lounging. Even my walking out the door spooked him and he hightailed it instead of lounging on the bricks. My presence hasn't bothered him since a week ago Monday so something happened because he's never run from me just going out before. Maintained a distance barrier, yes, run, no. He came in twice during the night Thursday and Fri early am. No Thur or Fri daytime appearances. Didn't show up early Sat am at all. I'm worried I lost this one.

He finally showed up some 43+- hours later to eat somewhere between 11pm Sat. 27 March and 1:30am Sun 28 March. Although I did not see him, his food was gone and there were black and white hairs and paw prints on the glass table. I did see him about 4;15 am as I had left him a double helping of food since he went so long without. Bo-Ty ate almost all of it. He's still very nervous so something must still be out there hunting him but, for now, I know he's alive and well. Last night 29 March and this morning 30 March he has returned to his habit of coming in 3 times a night, about 7pm, about 3 am, and about 5am. Still no daytime visits again yet.

Bo-Ty showed up 30 March afternoon about 5:35pm to eat. The first daytime visit since 24 March! Went to lounge on his adobe bricks after eating and didn't run when I went out. Where he is, I couldn't really get any good photos but at least he didn't care about me being out there.

Bo-Ty has now been missing since 7 pm 30 March. I haven't totally given up hope yet but am facing the real probability that a predator got him. God speed, my little friend. I can only hope I made your brief life a little easier.
